Why Now

We as humans desire to tell our stories, we love to talk and connect with others. We are social creatures, who are encouraged and inspired by one another. My life would be seriously lacking if it weren’t for my friends and family. Not to mention causal acquaintances, and one time encounters. Also, a special shout to so many amazing podcasters and bloggers out there, who have made a tremendous impact on my life. I am eternally grateful for the way my life has been affected and will continue to be affected by interactions with other people.

So grateful that I have been moved to share with anyone who has to the time and interest to tune in to what I have to say.  I am here to share my journey and exploration of life, love and the pursuit of reaching my highest potential. I encourage you to look at my story and see reflections of yourself. I am no one but a brave soul reaching out to other brave souls who are ready to harness their power to live the best possible life. I am not a therapist or a healthcare professional.

This site, its content and I am a work in progress. I am sharing what I have experienced, and what I am currently doing to increase my happiness and alignment with my true-self. This site is friendly advice, entertainment, and my personal opinions.

Some of the thoughts and strategies I talk about may or may not work for you. I am in no way advocating that if you do exactly as I do, you will have the life of your dreams. What I am advocating is that everyone has the capability to achieve their best possible life. The way a person comes to this realization is unique to them; there is no cookie cutter, step-by-step guide to life.

That is why there are so many self-help philosophies out there, nothing is one size fits all. I cannot go inside of your heart and mind; only you can do that. What I can do, is my best to share my heart and mind with you.

It doesn’t matter who you are, where you are from, what you have been through or done.  You can take control of your destiny. Now is the time to act as the main creator of your story.  You didn’t stumble upon my page by accident, you are here because you are ready to expand your consciousness. We are living in a time of rapid growth, and I am not just talking about technology; we as humans are becoming more aware of the true nature of our world.

As we wake up; eyes opening, skin shedding to the ground, reaching for anything that feels familiar, many of us are finding that home is right inside of our own hearts.  The comfort of self -love and acceptance grounds us; and to stay away from becoming disillusioned we look for community.  We look for like minded souls who are ready to admit that sometimes this world just doesn’t make sense. We look for like minded hearts that help remind us that even when the wool is pulled from your eyes and disaster is cluttering around our feet, there is beauty in everything.

Sometimes, we look for ways out, instead of in, we look, because seeing reality without a filter can be painful.  I am here to say, I get it, now more than ever, I get it.  The universe is calling to us, calling for us to shake off the cobwebs and honor the light that shines within.  It is time to start living, Now, not later, Now.  It’s time to live even in the face of confusion. Why now? Because tomorrow doesn’t exist.

I understand on a basic conscious level that my dreams can become my reality, and now it is time to apply my beliefs into action. I am willing to test the boundaries of my mind. I dedicated to always doing my best, to stop focusing on my fears, to throw out old habits, and to begin to hone in my perfect reality. Journey with me as I work to uncover my true-self and connect on a deeper level with my undeniable potential.

We are all searching the internet for different reasons, and looking for help in different ways. We are all in different stages of acceptance and understanding of life, it is not beyond me to say sometimes reading an article and finding community among the web is just not enough. If you are struggling with serious mental health issues, please seek professional help by calling The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK. We are never alone.
